Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Effective from 6 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern mixing, mastering and related audio services provided by GV Sound Studio through gvsoundstudio.com, email or other direct communication channels. By accepting a quotation or otherwise instructing GV Sound Studio to begin work, you enter into an agreement for the services described in the accepted quotation, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Provider
GV Sound Studio / Giuliano Vangelista
Piazza Donatori di Sangue 3
37053 Cerea (VR), Italy
VAT No. (Partita IVA): IT05110970232
Email: info@gvsoundstudio.com
2. Services
GV Sound Studio provides professional audio mixing, mastering and related audio processing services. Each project is different, so the exact scope of work, price, expected turnaround time and any specific requirements are agreed individually before work begins.
Any quotation applies only to the material and scope described when the quotation is issued. Additional tracks, stems, versions, editing, tuning, restoration, arrangement changes or other work outside the agreed scope may require an additional fee. No additional charge will be applied without informing the client first.
3. Quotations and Prices
Prices shown on the website, where present, are indicative unless explicitly stated otherwise. A final price may depend on the number of tracks or stems, recording quality, editing requirements, project complexity and the amount of work required.
The client will be informed of the agreed price before paid work begins. Unless otherwise stated, quotations remain valid for 30 days.
4. Payment
Payment terms are communicated with the quotation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, GV Sound Studio may require full or partial advance payment before work begins and may require payment of any outstanding balance before delivery of final approved files.
Any applicable taxes are handled in accordance with Italian and European law.
5. Client Material
The client is responsible for providing audio files in a suitable format and with sufficient technical quality for the requested service. The client should verify all files before submission, including arrangement, timing, edits, tuning, fades and correct track placement.
GV Sound Studio is not responsible for defects already present in the source material, including clipping, distortion, excessive noise, poor recording quality or other limitations that cannot reasonably be corrected during mixing or mastering. Where reasonably possible, significant technical problems identified before work begins will be reported to the client.
6. Rights to Submitted Material
By submitting audio or other material, the client confirms that they own the material or have obtained all rights, licences and permissions necessary to use and submit it.
The client retains ownership of all intellectual property rights in the submitted material. The client grants GV Sound Studio a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, copy and process the material solely as necessary to perform the requested services.
GV Sound Studio will not commercially release, distribute or otherwise exploit the client's music without permission.
7. Mixing and Mastering Decisions
Mixing and mastering involve both technical and creative decisions. Clients are encouraged to provide reference tracks, artistic direction and important requirements before work begins.
Reference tracks are used as artistic and technical guidance only. An identical sound cannot be guaranteed because the result depends on the performances, recordings, arrangement, production and source material provided.
8. Revisions
Reasonable revisions within the originally agreed scope are intended to help achieve a result that satisfies the client. Revision requests should be communicated clearly and, where possible, in a single organised list.
Changes that substantially alter the original artistic direction or require work outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require a revised quotation. No additional charge will be made without informing the client first.
9. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your mix or master, GV Sound Studio will first work with you to address your feedback through reasonable revisions. If you are still not satisfied after that process, you may request a 100% refund of the amount paid for that specific service.
A refund request under this voluntary commercial guarantee must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery of the latest revised version.
If a full refund is issued, the refunded mix, master or other processed files may not be released, published, distributed, sold or otherwise used. The client retains all rights to their original recordings and source material.
This Satisfaction Guarantee is additional to, and does not restrict or replace, any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.
10. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are normally agreed before work begins. Delivery dates are estimates unless GV Sound Studio expressly agrees in writing to a fixed deadline.
Turnaround time may be affected by project complexity, revision requests, delays in receiving client material or feedback, technical problems or circumstances outside GV Sound Studio's reasonable control. Final files are normally delivered electronically.
11. File Storage
GV Sound Studio may temporarily retain submitted files, working files and completed audio as necessary to perform the service, manage revisions, handle requests or comply with legal obligations.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backup copies of all original and delivered files. GV Sound Studio does not guarantee indefinite storage or archival of completed projects.
Deletion of submitted material may be requested by contacting info@gvsoundstudio.com, subject to information that must be retained by law or is reasonably necessary for legal or contractual purposes.
12. Confidentiality
Audio submitted by clients is treated as confidential. GV Sound Studio will not publish, publicly stream or use a client's music for promotional purposes without permission.
13. Portfolio and Credits
GV Sound Studio may ask the client for permission to feature completed work in its portfolio, website, social media or promotional material. Such use will take place only with the client's permission.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the client is not required to credit GV Sound Studio when releasing finished material, although credit is appreciated.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Where services are purchased through a third-party marketplace or platform, that platform's payment, refund, dispute-resolution and other mandatory terms may also apply. Where those mandatory platform rules conflict with these Terms & Conditions, the applicable platform rules prevail for the transaction conducted through that platform.
15. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Where the client qualifies as a consumer under applicable Italian or European Union consumer law and enters into a distance contract, the client generally has 14 days from conclusion of the service contract to exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, subject to the exceptions and conditions provided by law.
If the consumer asks GV Sound Studio to begin providing the service before the end of the withdrawal period, GV Sound Studio may request the consumer's express request to begin performance during that period. If the consumer withdraws after performance has begun, an amount proportionate to the service already provided may be payable where permitted by law.
After the service has been fully performed, the statutory right of withdrawal may cease where performance began with the consumer's prior express consent and the consumer acknowledged that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the service had been fully performed, as required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer right.
16. Liability
GV Sound Studio will perform the agreed services with reasonable professional care. No particular commercial outcome, number of streams, sales, audience response, label interest, broadcast acceptance or other result arising from release or use of the finished material can be guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GV Sound Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of delivered material. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
17. Acceptance and Release
The client is responsible for listening to and checking delivered files before commercial release, duplication, distribution or publication. Public release of the processed material will normally be treated as acceptance of the delivered version, without prejudice to mandatory statutory rights.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.
For clients acting in the course of a business or profession, the competent court for disputes shall be determined in accordance with applicable law and any valid agreement between the parties. For consumers, mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
19. Changes to These Terms
GV Sound Studio may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version accepted by the client when the relevant service agreement is concluded forms part of that agreement and remains applicable to that project. Later versions apply only to contracts concluded after their effective date, unless a different change is expressly agreed by the parties or is required by applicable law.
20. Contact
